Frameless glazing & Glass Door

Frameless Glazing

Frameless glazing as the name implies, refers to glass that is connected together by bonding, seal or brackets to form glass walls, roofs or windows. It can be single glaze for internal use or made into units for insulation for external use. ON VERY LARGE EXPANSES OF GLASS OR HIGH WIND LOADS, GLASS FINS BONDED TO THE UNITS ADD LATERAL SUPPORT.

External Glazing

FROM A WEATHERING POINT OF VIEW, FRAMELESS GLAZING SYSTEMS ARE RELIANT ON THE APPLICATION OF SEALANT. THEREFORE ONCE A FRAMELESS GLAZING SYSTEM HAS BEEN INSTALLED AND TESTED UNDER SEVERE WEATHER CONDITIONS (ASSUMING THE SEAL IS NOT SUBSEQUENTLY DAMAGED/PUNCTURED), WEATHER INTEGRITY SHOULD BE MAINTAINED FOR AT LEAST 10 YEARS FROM APPLICATION.

THE INTRODUCTION OF GLASS TECHNOLOGIES AROUND THE STRUCTURAL PROPERTIES OF TOUGHENED GLASS HAS PROVIDED HUGE POTENTIAL AND FLEXIBILITY IN FRAMELESS GLASS STRUCTURES. ALL FRAMELESS GLAZED APPLICATIONS WILL USUALLY CONSIST OF AT LEAST ONE OF THE FOLLOWING DETAILS:
1. UNSUPPORTED GLASS TO GLASS SILICONE JOINTS
2. SUPPORTED GLASS UNITS VIA STAINLESS STEEL FITTINGS AND STRUCTURAL GLASS FINS
3. SUPPORTED GLASS UNITS VIA STAINLESS STEEL FITTINGS AND STRUCTURAL STEELWORK
4. SUPPORTED GLASS UNITS VIA STRUCTURAL GLASS ADHESION TO STRUCTURAL GLASS FINS

Most frameless glass structures will require framework and brackets. However many applications can be designed to conceal most of the framework within the interfacing internal finishes.

Internal glazing

WE OFFER AN INTERNAL FRAMELESS GLAZING SERVICE THAT COMBINES THE DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT AND INSTALLATION OF A WIDE RANGE OF DOORS AND PARTITIONING SYSTEMS. THESE INCLUDE SILICONE AND DRY JOINTED GLAZING OR DEMOUNTABLE SYSTEM PARTITIONS.

WE WILL GUARANTEE THE HIGHEST QUALITY SERVICE AND INNOVATIVE DESIGN TO SECURE CONSUMER SATISFACTION, AND ENSURE THAT OUR PARTITIONING SYSTEMS ARE ABLE TO MEET YOUR SPECIFICATION. WE ARE ALSO ALWAYS AVAILABLE TO OFFER OUR TECHNICAL EXPERTISE TO ENSURE SUCCESSFUL PROJECT COMPLETION.

SSG (STRUCTURALLY SEALED GLAZING) CONSISTS OF FRAME TO ONE SIDE OF THE STRUCTURE. THE FACE SIDE APPEARS AS FLAT GLASS WITH SEALANT BETWEEN THE GLASS UNITS.
